Full suite 1-1 application help to get you into law school
Managing the law school application process while working full-time can be difficult.
It’s almost like you have a second full-time job.
You may feel as though you don’t know where to start, or whether you’re making the right choices.
Even worse, you’ve been out of undergrad for a period of time so you know your application will look different but you don’t know what matters and how to make it stand out.
To add on to the pressure, you’ve got top law school goals: make a lot of money, big law, large firms, government, directors, academia, judgeships, etc.
So you know your whole application matters. You know you need to be at a top law school.
That’s where we come in.
We help you navigate the law school application process from start to finish. We tell you what to do, how to do it, and when.
No more guesswork, no two full-time jobs, just strategy and process.
At the end of it all, you’ve got a top notch application to submit to law schools.
Creating a strong application
As a nontraditional applicant you have many stories to tell. You have a variety of different experiences, academic, and professional pursuits. The only stories that matter are the ones that will get you into law school. We work with you to pull those stories and skills out and highlight them in your application.
Being a nontraditional applicant many years ago, I know exactly what this looks like, and I’ve helped 100’s of applicants get into top law schools all across the country.

Don’t fall for the kitchen sink trap.
Strong applications are not kitchen sinks. “i.e.: I’m going to throw everything I’ve ever done and every accomplishment I have and hope something sticks”
You have a unique story to tell, and focusing on the ONE story that matters is what will make you stand out in the admissions process.
Merging work experience with your application
You may think that being in a different professional career is a disadvantage while applying to law school. Or maybe you think your undergraduate career was so far away (or not representative of your capabilities) and that will stop you from getting in to a good law school.
It’s okay to think that way, that’s probably what you’ve been told.
But that’s not the case.
As a nontraditional applicant you have strengths that other traditional applicants do not. You have extensive experience, substantively, academically, and professionally, that should be showcased in your application as transferable skills applicable to law school and to the legal profession.
Your experience should do nothing but enhance your application. I’ll tell you what I mean.
Are you 25 and older and applying to law school?
Here what one of my nontraditional clients had to say..
“Going to law school has been a long term goal of mine for quite sometime and being out of school for as long as i have, i didn’t know where to start. The process was overwhelming and factoring in lsat studying along with that was equally overwhelming so i kept putting it off. I realized that life was passing me by and I really wanted to pursue this sooner rather than later as i didn’t want to look back at my life with regrets. So i realized that law school coaching would help me. I was passively looking for law school coaches who shared my vision for the career goals I was trying to accomplish. I wanted someone I could relate to. I wanted someone that I could see myself working long term with. I wanted to work with someone who was very accomplished and went big in their legal career. I happened to stumble on Topping the Curve’s instagram page and later stumbled on Sephora’s Linkedin profile. I knew right away I wanted to work with her because she knew what she was talking about, she was confident, and she went through the process from beginning to end. While I still have significant anxiety with the LSAT, she has helped me a lot with that. Working with Sephora is the closest i’ve come to making my dream a reality.” – Lauren

The importance of a strong application
I worked at a financial investment firm prior to applying to law school.
As someone who had top law school goals, I knew it was important to secure the three checkboxes: LSAT, GPA, and application materials. Any shortcomings on one, rendered the other 2 extremely important.
So, I was meticulous when crafting my application, spending over 3 months on the materials alone.
I focused on what would make me stand out amongst the crowd and showcase my experiences in a light that wouldn’t necessarily be represented or presented by others. A big portion of this was my experience at my job before law school.
I spent time identifying the top qualities and stories about me and what I learned from my job and turned that into my application strategy.
Ultimately, I got into my top choice law school, Georgetown, and landed multiple big law firm jobs using the same process I did for my law school applications, for my big law applications.
The point is,
When you know what stories and strengths to focus on you increase your chances of getting into a top law school.

A successful 1L Client:
“I am a non-traditional student as I first went to graduate school for two years then took a gap year before starting law school. Coming into law school I knew that one goal I would work towards was securing at least one federal clerkship and another being to secure a big law job. After my first semester, I finished in the top 25% of my class.
Overall, I have absolutely loved my experience with Sephora and TTC. I decided to work with Sephora because I wanted to make an investment in myself and my future. I knew that even though there is a cost to have my application materials reviewed, it would be worth it in the long run in terms of scholarships. I truly believe that I had not worked with Sephora I would not have received the scholarships and acceptances that I did. Sephora was quick to return drafts and is not shy about editing your papers. Even after starting law school, Sephora still remains one of my greatest mentors and advises me on how to navigate classes, professor selection, and so much more. I really cannot recommend Sephora enough.
To me, what really separates TTC from other programs is that Sephora is doing everything that I want to do. She graduated at the top of her class, secured two federal clerkships, and landed a big law job. Those are my three main goals and I knew that from the start. I actually found Sephora on Tik Tok and after watching her videos, and realizing that she was doing everything I wanted to do, I knew that she knew how to get there. To me, that was something I did not really see in other programs as it was mainly just people who reviewed materials as their profession. Sephora knows exactly what they are looking for and will help you get there.” – John.
You are not alone.
You may think that you are at a disadvantage because you have no one to talk to about law school.
And you wouldn’t be wrong to think so.
At every step of my law school career and every successful big law job I got, clerkship interview, DOJ job, or other offer, I had someone guiding me along the way.
It was life changing.
It’s how I got straight A’s in law school.
It’s how I had multiple big law firm offers my 1L year.
It’s how I knew which firms to choose both years of law school.
It’s how I landed both a federal district and appellate court clerkship.
That is the opportunity I am giving to you.
Get the guidance you need to reach the goals you deserve.
