Application success

When I was applying to law school 7 years ago I did not know much about the application process.

But through my own process, interviewing deans, judges, admissions counselors, big law partners, government officials, and more, I learned a ton. (Some of these are still up on Topping the Curve’s podcast from 2 years ago).

I used the methods of what I learned to help me in law school too. It’s how I graduated in the top of my class, landed Editor-in-Chief, 10+ big law firm offers, 2 federal clerkships, and more.

A few years ago I started sharing what I knew and teaching others the process.

What happened was that the market got “fake saturated” which is where there soon became too much information– with not all of it being helpful (or correct).

So people got confused. Tired. Stressed. They said the process was hard.

So I knew it was time for a change.

I focused on teaching my clients everything. It was more than just the application.

With that new system my clients got results, and quicker.

Now you can too.

Build Your Dream Life.

The reality of the legal field is that it is still very elitist. Especially when it comes to big law and federal clerkships.

These jobs cherry pick from certain law schools, and if this is your goal, you want to give yourself the best chance you can to make it a reality.

Is it right? Maybe not. But if these are your goals, then make it easier for yourself at the application stage.

Our clients get $50,000-$100,000+ to attend top law schools.

You can easily be one of them.

In our application mastermind, we walk you through everything you need to build a top law school application.

A holistic application that focuses on your strengths, and not doing what everyone else is, will make all the difference.

Your goals:

  • You want a lifestyle of freedom and flexibility.

In the mastermind, you’ll learn the most important goals that law schools are looking for. You’ll learn why and how these goals matter and how to highlight them in your law school application. With this, you’ll build an application that will make you stand out to law schools where you can get your desired lifestyle.
  • You’ve got big goals and know you need a top law school to make it easier to get there.

In the mastermind, you’ll learn what topics to choose and what topics to avoid. Proper writing techniques and style, and putting each document together cohesively. With this, you’ll be apart of the few who are approaching the process at a higher, more comprehensive level.

What you say, and how you say it.

Most people choose the wrong topic for their statements because they don’t follow a process.

They just jump right into writing.

And that results in poor topics, poor writing, poor materials.

So your statement adds no additional value to your application, and thus doesn’t move the needle in the application process.

Admissions aren’t convinced that they should give you a spot. And that’s what you need for top schools.

The mastermind gives you exactly what you need.

Weekly breakdown:

Week 1:

  • Master the personal statement. Perhaps the most important document of all your materials, your personal statement should be perfect. You want it to tell the story of you. You want it to be personal, tailored, and unique. We will tell you how to write a personal statement that catches eyes, and you will identify how you are unique, and know exactly what to write about.

Week 2:

  • Driving the diversity statement. You want to get into a good law school. So, you want to show the admissions counselors you deserve to be there. The more opportunity you give yourself to do that, the better. That is why everyone should be writing a diversity statement.

Week 3:

  • Refining your resume. You know that applying to law school, and being in law school is unlike anything you’ve ever done. So, you probably also know that your resume won’t necessarily look like you’re applying to a typical job. You’re exactly correct.  We will refine your resume so it complements your application story.

Week 4:

  • Optional statements and addendums. Yet another opportunity to showcase your genius to law schools. Learn how to craft the perfect addendum that helps to mitigate your weaknesses, and the perfect optional statement to do the same and complement your addendum.

What others have said:

“The reasons why I got these ideas is because of the application mastermind. I took information directly from the slides and coaching information. I was struggling before it, so I give all of the credit to the strength of my application to the mastermind.” – June Mastermind Attendee

“Sephora is amazing. I have no words to express how helpful she was with my entire application process, she was there for me the entire step of the way. I got into schools I didn’t even think possible, and she knows things you wouldn’t even know to think about. Do not hesitate to work with her.” -Mika

“Sephora is a genius. I got calls from admissions counselors telling me how good my personal statement was. I couldn’t believe it.” – John

“I thought I couldn’t write a diversity statement because I was white. But Sephora showed me that’s not how diversity is viewed in the legal field.” – Anna

Start early. Sephora has been by my side from the start and 1 year later i’m in at multiple T14 law schools.” -Kris

FAQ
  1. What if I can’t attend the live sessions? all sessions are recorded and will be made available to you the same night. You will still be able to ask your questions in the group chat even if you just watch the recordings.
  2. How long can I access the recordings? You will have access for a year.
  3. What is the difference between the mastermind and 1:1? The application mastermind is NOT 1:1 coaching. It is small group coaching of 20-30 individuals. You will attend group coaching calls on Monday and Friday group co-writing sessions (cohort A). There is no individual document review and no individual edits in the mastermind. All questions will be answered live during coaching calls and co-writing sessions, or in the group chat. 1:1 coaching is individual document review. Individual edits to each of your application documents, and 1:1 meetings with Sephora to discuss.
  4. Do I have to have taken the LSAT to join the mastermind? You don’t have to have taken the LSAT yet, and in fact you should not wait to start working on your application materials until after you take the LSAT because that usually results in a rushed application, particularly since most people take the LSAT more than once. The best strategy is to treat it as a marathon, and work incrementally on both pieces so you are submitting as a strong applicant at the beginning of the cycle.

Enrollment is limited to ~30 people per cohort.

There are no refunds once the mastermind has begun. Any refund prior to the start will be less processing fees (15%).
